Scotland: Glasgow

We had a fun day in Glasgow. We had never been there before, so we enjoyed getting a brief overview of the city. The cathedral was impressive.

The day before we got there, George Square was used for the filming of a movie with Brad Pitt that was supposed to be set in Philadelphia. They were still clearing away the barricades.

For my Dunedin pals, take a look at the tower on the main building of the University of Glasgow. Remind you of anything in Dunedin?

I loved the "squinty bridge" below. I had never seen a suspension bridge with only one arch. The next day in Edinburgh, we saw one with the same kind of design.

We've been taking photos of architectural details. Below are some from Glasgow.
